THE JOHN SHIPPEN Sports Business Summit was established by Intersport and the Woods & Watts Effect to create awareness of opportunities within the sports industry for high school and college students of color. On September 23rd, students from across the country will be able to hear from and engage with sports and business executives to get first hand knowledge on how to pursue and secure a career within the multi-faceted sports industry.

 

A free opportunity for high school and college students, THE JOHN SHIPPEN Sports Business Summit will cover a wide variety of topics ranging from "So You Want To Work In The Sports Industry?" to "The Business Of Sneakers".

THE JOHN SHIPPEN ACHIEVEMENT SCHOLARSHIP was created in honor of John Shippen, Jr., the first American-born and the first Black professional golfer.

INTERNSHIPS

THE JOHN SHIPPEN will work with corporations, foundations and sponsors to co-create and co-fund internships that provide young adults of color.
